Efficiently and effectively create, modify, maintain and manage all of your production mixes and products with Mix Management in COMMANDqc. COMMANDqc’s integrated approach to Mix Management provides more than just a tool for entering mix recipes. Concrete products are defined in terms of the requirements they are expected to satisfy – strength, slump, maximum w/c ratio, nominal aggregate size, etc. As Mix Designs are entered, the system provides dynamic feedback in the form of calculated parameters, total material cost, and aggregate grading curves to guide the design process and to verify that each Mix meets product requirements. A separate copy of each Mix is maintained for each plant to take into account different materials and production capabilities. Every substantive change to a mix is recorded as a
separate revision number, and a complete audit trail of mix changes is maintained indefinitely.

When raw material characteristics change, or when economics dictate a change in suppliers, COMMANDqc’s Mix Adjuster feature steps in with powerful tools to assist in making changes to large groups of Mix Designs in a single operation. Additional features include options for recalculating admix dosages and/or proportionally adjusting aggregates to maintain yield.

This ability to quickly adjust and re-verify hundreds or thousands of Mix Designs at one time opens opportunities that in the past were impractical. It is now possible to make frequent changes to mix proportions as field performance dictates, or to quickly take advantage of cost fluctuations in the raw materials marketplace.

Of course, Mix Designs maintained in COMMANDqc are available to all parts of the system, including Mix Submittals. When “activated” for production, Mix Design changes flow seamlessly to COMMANDconcrete where they can be used in quoting, order entry, and ticketing activities.
